Here's a report on one of my favorite UFO sightings/encounters. This one happened very close to where I live, at Falcon Lake, Manitoba, in 1967. It is so weird that it must be true.
Here are two shots of Stephen Michalak, showing the strange burn pattern he received from going too close to the craft.
Stephen Michalak of Winnipeg was prospecting in the area just north of Falcon Lake. He saw a pair of UFO's close by, where one hovered briefly, changed colors and flew away, and the other landed on a rocky outcrop about 50 yards away from him. The craft changed colors as it sat, eventually turning a color like hot stainless steel, with a golden hued corona surrounding the entire craft. This craft sat there for some time. Michalak made a sketch of the craft, and after 1 hr or so, ventured closer to it. After some time, an opening appeared, with internal lights visible through this opening. From a distance of approximately 60 feet, Michalak could hear high pitched voices coming from inside the craft. He tried communicating in several languages with them from his position outside and got no response.
Michalak approached the craft, touched it, and melted the coating from his rubber faced glove. He stuck his head inside the opening for a brief moment and looked around. The craft was filled with lit panels and beams of light everywhere. At that time no computers existed, except for maybe really huge ones at several universities and research facilities, but the insides of the craft resembled consoles with modern day computer equipment. The walls of the craft were noted to be about 18 inches thick. Stephen Michalak never saw any occupants, but after standing outside the craft for a short time, he noticed the craft somehow quickly sealed itself up much like a camera shutter, and turned/rotated so that the opening was no longer located where it had been.
Michalak noted that a vent shaped feature was now present at the area close to where he was standing. Michalak saw some kind of colored hot gas discharge come from this vent, which hit him in the chest and legs, badly burning him, (and created a kind of waffle burn pattern on his chest). The craft then took off with Michalak standing beside it. He said that the craft made a hissing sound and a whirring noise while it sat, but was totally silent when it took off and flew away.
