Welcome To My Favorite Projects
Welcome to my web page. It is a collection of projects that I have worked on - some info on how to build a tube bender, the ongoing chopping project of my Yamaha XS650, links to chopped bike frames, plans for several other do it yourself projects, including a really excellent sounding set of subs (that a band would use), some twisted info on the Taos Hum, and a few other odds and ends.
If you like my page, bookmark it and come back often. Visit when you can and tell your friends.

| If you're planning to make anything from tubing,
you're going to need a
way to bend your tubing pieces. You could use the
more common and cheaper pipe bender if you have one, but it
won't work very well on tube.
This is a hand pump bender (made even out of scrap steel, if you want to), that works really well. If you bend with an angle finder sitting on your raw tube, you can nail the bend to within a fraction of a degree every time. All you will need to buy (besides your steel and a few hardware items) is a set of dies, and a 12 ton hydraulic jack. This bender fits several different size dies which you can change as necessary. View the bender here. |

| This is an ongoing story showing how I chopped my '78 Yamaha
XS 650. The XS is a smaller bike by Harley standards, but its a nicely
designed bike, maybe even up
there with the classic British Triumph 650. Here's how I'm chopping mine. This method has been around for a while, and it works well because the rear (chopped) part of the frame ends up being where it's supposed to be, without the need for expensive weld/positioning fixtures. So anyone can do this. Here's how mine is going. I have a few updates that will be going in soon. Tank, fwd controls, bars, headlight, rear fender, sissy bar, etc, etc. |

| If you're interested in making neon signs, or working glass, you will need a blower that delivers approx 40 cfm of air flow, at 3 psi or greater. This doesn't sound like a difficult thing to find, but it turns out that a blower that will do this has been unbelievably hard to find and just as expensive ! Those experienced in this type of thing usually have started with a blower similar to this. The component drawing is here. | |
| If you are interested in bikes and you want to try making a rigid frame, this might be a good place to start. Frank Woslum has been designing frames for years. If you go to this site: Hondachopper.com, you can see a frame that Frank Woslum has designed for the Honda 750 SOHC Four engine. Here's sheet two. If you need the full size drawings, there is a small fee to cover the costs of making the blueprints and shipping, but its really cool info. | |
| Info on how you would go about chopping a Honda 750 or a Yamaha XS650. If you want to see exactly what can be done with a Honda 750, check this page out - it is a page from the Honda Choppers site showing a few recently built bikes. The bike built in Sweden is truly a thing of beauty. | |
| Some propaganda that I have created that shows how a spinning/rotating sign goes together. | |
| What to do with old pop bottles, when you're sitting out on the deck in the summertime. | |
| If you want concert quality bass and a great sounding set of subs for a band or your club, you could make a set of these. They look and sound totally awesome. | |
| This is an online store that I have. My plan is to put a lot of stuff here that you wouldn't normally find in most internet stores. I don't know where that's going to take me, but it should be an interesting journey. Welcome to my online store. | |

A few years ago (quite a few years ago), I read about and decided to put together a small potato gun, to see what all the fuss was about. Boy, was I surprised at how well it worked, and how simple it was. Before long, I made a larger one, then I made a few for my friends, and ended up making a 6 ft air powered cannon, reportedly capable of firing a projectile (as in a potato slug) about 400 yards. Actually, it likely has even a better range than that - I haven't taken it out to an open field to measure exactly what it will do. Maybe that's another project for this summer. Anyway, I will be adding drawings and some pictures of both types here, and I'll show you what's involved if you want to make one. |

Nikola Tesla is one of my heroes. You can read a few things about this amazing scientist/inventor here. |
|
| A short story of my experience with the Taos Hum. Links to related sites that I think are pretty neat. | |
| British scientists have shown that Robert Lazar's stories about how antigravity works might be for real. This article is kind of hoky, but it might contain some truth, since Robert Lazar has literally been under a microscope since making his claims in the 90's (Robert Lazar claims that he had worked on a captured UFO at area 51 - Groom Lake, Nevada. He claims he was a physicist hired by the US gov't to reverse engineer the propulsion/antigravity system of a captured UFO). | |

Here's a page with some links to some really neat UFO stuff. |

| A few years ago, I watched a tv
program about Bob Sebert, who is a retired gentleman from the southern
Ontario region of Canada. In this show, Bob was outlining how he
designed and was selling a still for people that wanted to make their own
spirits. Bob Sebert is one cool person.
He wants to change the laws to make home distilling legal, and I think we
should all join him in this quest. If you are interested in making your own liqueurs, have a look at these links. These two designs are the best and most simple that I've come across. Many people are getting into this hobby, but please remember that owning a still is not illegal in the US or Canada, but using one to make spirits is definitely illegal. So, if you make one, make sure you use it for distilling water only. |
Please note that new material is being added all the time, almost daily. If you have your own site and you would like to link to this one, go ahead, you don't need to ask. And if you have a project that you would like listed here, please send it to me. - What you see here is just a start. I would like to include any interesting projects that you might have. - Terry
